What do I have to do to qualify for these services?
There are certain services such as benevolence that require regular attendance or membership at NorthRidge Church. However, the majority of services are offered to anyone.

LifeShare/LifeSkills groups meet on WEDNESDAYS @7-9pm.

Childcare is available - childcare fees.

Review specific group details on LifeShare or LifeSkills groups pages listed on the side menu.

Once a month we have a Wednesday NewLife Worship Service and groups do not meet.

Is there a cost involved?

The only cost related to our services would be for purchase of text/curriculum that may be used as part of a care group or SoulCare Mentoring sessions.

How do I schedule an appointment to meet/talk with someone?

There are several ways to reach us: E-mail via this website, Get Connected on the website or call the Care Ministries Department at the church main office phone number: 734.414.7777.

Are there certain days and times when appointments can be scheduled?

Days and times are flexible

Are there licensed therapists on staff to help me?

No. However, we offer professional counseling referrals from a group of counselors that we have interviewed and trust for your emotional support and help. In addition, 2-3 sessions of Pastoral Care with one of our Care Staff is available by making an appointment.

Do I have to be a member of the church to receive help/support?

Our care/ support/ recovery groups are open to the public and do not require membership to attend. One to One care is available to regular attenders or members. For non attenders, professional counselor information is available upon request.

How can I get connected to a SoulCare Mentor?

Fill out the application that is in the mailroom called "CareSeeker Intake Form" and return it to the SoulCare mailbox. The Care Coordinator will contact you to assign you to a mentor. You may also contact Care Ministries at 734.414.7777. This process takes approximately 2 weeks.

How can I find out about SoulCare Mentor Training?

See the Events & Training Section or contact the Care Coordinator for the current schedule of classes, including dates, times and course offerings. We offer Individidual, Marriage and Pre-marriage Care Training.
