What is "Stewardship" to me?

“Stewardship is the careful and responsible management of something that has been entrusted to my care.” A classic definition:

It is something that all of us do on a daily basis; including taking care of our families, our personal well-being, our business affairs and our financial resources. Giving is a component of stewardship. All of the facets of our lives have been entrusted to us by God.

NorthRidge Church trains, equips and supports believers in their faithful responsibilities toward stewarding their lives as Christ-followers. Money is a significant element of our daily lives; the way that we earn, spend, save, invest and give is a fundamental part of life stewardship.

Scripture tells us the importance of properly caring for His entrusted resources, without regard to ‘how large’ or ‘how small’. Christ-followers are to seek to have a heart reflective of Luke 16:10, “He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much…”

The Mission:

Financial Stewardship inside a Life of Stewardship: “To be a resource for Christ-followers desiring to learn and to live-out Biblical principles of financial stewardship.”
