Frequently Asked Questions On Giving

Give Online: This is a safe, secure way to give to the ministries of NorthRidge. You can set up recurring gifts, review giving history and download tax statements.

Text to Give: Text GIVE to 734.725.2223 to register. Once registered, text the number at any time with “GIVE,” followed by the dollar amount. (Example: “GIVE50” gives $50) To update payment information, text “Change Card.”

On Campus: You can place your offering in the Giving Boxes at each entrance. Offering envelopes are available at the Reception Desk.

Offering Envelopes: Envelopes are available at no cost and mailed to any NorthRidge attendee who requests them to establish faithful patterns of giving. For more information, contact the Main Office at 734.414.7777.

Mail: You can mail your offering to NorthRidge Church, Attn: Business Office, 49555 N Territorial, Plymouth, MI 48170

To give online, follow these steps:

  1. On the Giving Opportunities page, click the Give Now button for the designation you wish to support
  2. In the amount box, type in the dollar amount you want to give or select the amount
  3. Enter your name, email and billing address information
  4. Enter your card or bank account information
  5. Verify the summary of your giving information
  6. Click the Complete Gift button

If you have given before in a NorthRidge Church giving system and you do not know the email address you used to do so, call the Main Office at 734.414.7777.

If you have not created an account or have given before with NorthRidge Church, you can click the Sign In button on the Account Page or choose a fund to give to on the Giving Opportunities page and set up your one-time or recurring giving.

It is not necessary to create an online account to give online, but an account will be created automatically after you have given. Our system will automatically match your giving based on your billing information and email address. With your account, you will be able to edit your contact information, view your giving history, print a giving statement, edit/save payment information, and edit your recurring gifts. Additionally, with saved billing and payment information, you can complete any future online offerings in fewer steps.

To set up a recurring gift, follow these steps:

  1. From the Giving Opportunities page, click the Give Now button for the designation you wish to support
  2. In the amount box, type in the dollar amount you want to give or select the amount
  3. Using the Given drop-down list, select the frequency (weekly, monthly, etc.) and type the date you want your gift to start
  4. Enter the date you want the gift to start processing
  5. Enter your name, email and billing address
  6. Enter in your card or bank account information
  7. Verify the summary of your giving information
  8. Click the Complete Gift button

To edit your recurring gift, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to you online giving account
  2. Click the Profile button
  3. Click on the Recurring Gifts link
  4. Click the Edit button to make changes to your scheduled contribution
  5. On this screen, you can change your donation amount, the frequency of your gift, and the next start date
  6. Once your changes are complete, click the Next Step button
  7. On this screen, you can update your billing address, select a different payment method, or create a new payment method
  8. Once your changes have been made, click the Next Step button
  9. If everything looks correct, click the Submit button

To change the designation for your recurring gift, you can contact the Business Office at 734.414.7777 x3624, or you can delete your current recurring gift and create a new one for the designation you wish to support.

To delete your recurring gift, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your online giving account
  2. Click the Profile button
  3. Click on the Recurring Gifts link
  4. Click the Delete button next to the scheduled contribution you wish to remove
  5. Click the OK button to confirm the delete
  6. Verify your schedule is no longer visible in the list

To make changes to your online giving profile, follow these steps:

  1. Login to your online giving account
  2. Click on the Profile link
  3. In the Contact Information section, you can update your phone number(s), email address, and mailing address
  4. In the Your Saved Payment Methods section, you can edit and delete your saved payment methods
  5. After making any profile changes, make sure to click the Submit button under the Gift/Visibility Permission section
  6. Click the OK button

To update your address on your online giving profile, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your online giving account
  2. Click on the Profile link
  3. In the Contact Information section, you can update your phone number(s), email address, and mailing address
  4. Click the OK button
  5. After making any profile changes, make sure to click the Submit button under the Gift/Visibility Permission section

Yes. NorthRidge and our giving partners provide the latest technology in regards to encryption and security. We do ask that you help us keep your information safe by protecting your login information.

You will not pay any fees with your online contribution. NorthRidge pays all costs associated with online giving. When you are determining whether to give via a debit/credit card or ACH, please keep in mind that the processing fees associated with credit cards are higher for the church than with ACH transactions.

 

With your account, you will be able to view your giving history and print your Annual Giving Statement for tax purposes. If you have questions or need assistance, contact the Business Office at 734.414.7777 x3624.

Your information is held securely by NorthRidge Church and our giving platforms. We will never call you to ask for your personal login information. You can schedule new contributions at any time and can modify or cancel those contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled.
