Child neglect is sadly prevalent in many households in our nation. Every day, millions of children endure the agony of abuse, abandonment, and neglect.

  • Nearly 424,000 children are in foster care in the U.S., with 10,000 in Michigan.
  • Up to 80% of foster children in America have mental health issues.
  • 60% of domestic child trafficking victims in the U.S. have a history in the welfare system.
  • 42% of foster children experience homelessness by age 21.
  • Only 20% attend college, and just 3% earn a bachelor’s degree.

Our Foster Care Ministry provides essentials for children removed from homes and placed in foster care. Children often leave with their belongings in trash bags, and some go with only the clothes they have on. Their lives are shattered and filled with uncertainty. We want to “Show them His love.” with filled duffel bags to make their journey a little easier. Join us in showing these kids love and hope for their future!

We will be selling filled bags at both campuses on the weekends of May 11/12 and 18/19. You can also purchase one through our online store.

*Please Note: Your purchase will go directly to our Outreach Ministry for packing.

  1. Purchase a 26 – 30″ Duffel Bag
  2. Choose if this is for a boy or girl and the age you would like to shop for (ages 2-12).
  3. Shop for items listed below.
  4. Drop your bag off during the weekend services of May 11/12 or 18/19. Or, drop them off during the week at your campus – Plymouth, Mon-Fri, 9a-5p | Brighton, Mon-Thu, 8:30a-5p.
