Central Detroit Christian

The CDC provides job training, tutoring, home rehabilitation, home demolition, urban gardening, and countless other opportunities for the residents of a very economically challenged area of the city. Sharing the gospel through Word and deed in the Central Detroit area is the mission of this organization. For more information about the CDC, go to centraldetroitchristian.org.

What will you be doing?
Join us as we serve quarterly, doing various projects ranging from refurbishing housing to working with families in the community. Experience is optional for these work days. This is the kind of thing that someone could volunteer for a couple of times a year or quarterly. Each trip is a different project, working downtown from about 9a-1p. For special events such as the back-to-school backpack distribution or the Christmas Store, we may meet on additional Saturdays to help fill this need. There may be special projects that will require other dates as well.
