Do you love to help people connect to God and others? Then becoming a Group Leader may be the place for you! Leaders facilitate discussion and help connect group members. You don’t have to be a Bible expert; you have to love people and have a desire to learn and grow with them.

Schedule: The schedule varies by the group – meeting weekly/biweekly

Requirements: Membership or working towards membership, attend basic and specialized training, complete a background check, and interview with leadership.

Regardless of where you are on your faith journey, Rooted is a 10-week experience that will take you deeper in your walk with Jesus and allow you to connect with others on a deeper level. You would help people connect to God, others, and their purpose in this group environment.

Schedule: This ten-week class is available in winter, spring, summer, and fall and is offered on weeknights as well as Saturday afternoons. You will sign up for the semester you’d like to lead about a month beforehand.

Requirements: Membership or working towards membership; complete a Rooted group, attend Rooted Training, complete a background check, and interview with leadership.

Have you ever heard someone say they have a “relationship with God” but never understood exactly what that meant? Starting Point is a small gathering of people looking to understand what it means to have a relationship with God. It’s where facilitators help create a respectful environment through authentic conversation so people can discover and experience God at their own pace. Attendees are generally either seeking God, are new believers or are returning to faith.

Schedule: This eight week class is available winter, spring, summer and fall and is offered on weeknights as well as during weekend services. You will sign up for the semester you’d like to lead about a month beforehand.

Requirements: Membership or working towards membership; attend Basic Training, complete a background check, and interview with leadership

Additional Information: Once you complete the requirements to lead a group, you will go through one semester as an apprentice. This apprenticeship will be invaluable for you to learn the dynamics of a Starting Point Group.
